Babeni is a city in Valcea county , Oltenia , Romania , along with the aspect locality Babeni residence, and of the villages of Bonciu , Capu Dealului , Paduretu , Romani , Tatarani and Valea Mare . It is about 20 km south of the county house, Ramnicu Valcea municipality , and 30 km north of Dragasani municipality , on the right side of the Olt river .
