Antim Monastery

It bears the name of its originator. Antim was an excellent personality: bilingual, talented gifted specialist, printer and books director, priest and later Mitropolitan of Wallachia. Of Georgian origination he had a strong life, being taken into subjugation by the Turks in his underlying years.

In Constantinople, he had the chance to take in ious vernaculars and diverse claims to fame beforehand Prince Constantin Brancoveanu passed on him to Wallachia where he developed a surprising development of printing stately books and at last transformed into the pioneer of the Romanian Orthodox Church. It is one of the colossal place in this city.
