About Warka
Warka is a town in the Masovian Province, in the Grojec poviat, the seat of the urban and rural commune of Warka. In the years 1975 to 1998 the towns become administratively a part of the Radom province. The city is positioned on the border of the Warsaw Plain and the Kozienice Plain, and among them there is the Valley of the Lower Pilica. The cited regions belong to the Central Mazovian Lowland. The metropolis is positioned 50 km south of Warsaw and 40 km north of Radom. Pilica River, the longest left tributary of the Vistula, flows via the metropolis.
The royal city of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland positioned in the second half of the 16th century in the Vysoke poviat of the Czersk province of Mazovia. The first point out of the village dates from the 13th century. Warka acquired city rights between 1284 and 1321, because in 1321 Prince Trodden I has already showed the existence of the metropolis of Warka. The city advanced in particular as a center of beer manufacturing and thanks to change.
