Trzcianka is a metropolis in the Greater Poland place in Poland. Since 1999 it has belonged to Greater Poland Voivodeship and Czarnkow-Trzcianka County. Previously, it become positioned in Piła Voivodeship. Trzcianka has 17,131 inhabitants. From 1772 to 1945 the town was a part of the German-talking nation of Prussia and its name changed into Schonlanke. There is a mention of Trzcianka in a report dated 1245 whilst Duke Boleslaus V of Poland gave the land in the Notec river valley to a nobleman named Sedziwoj of Czarnkow. There were initially 3 villages of Biala, Gulcz, and Rozdrozka.
The new call of these 3 blended villages was Trzciana Laka, which was subsequently modified to Trzcianka within the seventeenth century. Soviet troops marching toward Berlin from the east entered Schonlanke on 27 January 1945. In that direction, approximately 500 people committed suicide. This is the one of the nice place to go in Poland.
