About Stalowa Wola
Stalowa Wola is the biggest town and capital of Stalowa Wola County with a populace of 64,353 inhabitants, as of June 2008. It is positioned in southeastern Poland inside the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. The city lies in historical Lesser Poland, close to the confluence of the Vistula and San rivers and covers a place of 82.5 km². Stalowa Wola is one of the youngest towns of Poland. It turned into built from scratch inside the late 1930s, in the forests surrounding the village of PÅ‚awo. The town changed into designed to be a settlement for workers of Huta Stalowa Wola, a plant built as part of the Central Industrial Region.
