About St. Johns Archcathedral Warsaw

The Archcathedral was associated with the Royal Castle by a hoisted 80-meter-long passageway that had been worked by Queen Anna Jagiellonka in the late sixteenth century and reached out in the 1620s after Micha Piekarski's fizzled 1620 endeavor to kill King of Poland Sigismund III before the Cathedral. After the determination of the Constitution of May 3, 1791, toward the finish of the session at the Royal Castle, King Stanislaw August Poniatowski went to the Cathedral of St. John to rehash the Oath of the Constitution before the Altar, despite God.

Additionally, the Marshals of the Great Sejm were conveyed to the Archcathedral on the shoulders of the eager representatives of the Sejm.
