About Reinhold Richter Villa
Reinhold Richter Villa at Skorupki Street 6/8 in Lodz in a park named after the bishop Michal Klepacz is now the main office of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology TUL. The estate was worked by a designer Ignatius Stebelski in the years 1903– 1904 at then Placowa Street. The building was outlined by German and English cases of "sporadic engineering" for Reinhold Richter. His sibling, Joseph Richter, had assembled his manor in the region a couple of years sooner, so the recreation center joined the two structures. After the passing of Reinhold Richter in 1930, his better half Matilda, and their five youngsters co-possessed the manor.
After the demise of Matilda there was a further division of the property. Jadwiga Scheibler nee Richter was the last tenant till the Second World War. After the war, the manor was assumed control by the Association of Workers' Universities. From 1951 to 1956 it housed the Preparatory Center for Higher Schools. On 23 November 1954 an archive exchanging the responsibility for working to Lodz University of Technology was drawn up, however the exchange at last occurred in the primary portion of 1956, when it turned into the seat of the recently made Faculty of Civil Engineering. From 1969 to 1976 the estate housed the Publications Department of TUL.
