Police

The town is arranged on the Oder River and its estuary, south of the Szczecin Lagoon and the Bay of Pomerania. The focal point of Police Town is arranged around 15 kilometers 9 miles north of the focal point of Szczecin. The city with the plant was caught by the Red Army amid the Battle of Berlin on 26 April 1945. On 25 February 1947 the plant likewise go to Polish control. Polish pioneers, halfway expellees from the east of previous Poland, touched base in the district to supplant the German populace that had fled or were coercively ousted. They were joined by displaced people from Greece and Yugoslav Macedonia in 1953.
