About Piastow
Piastow is a town inside the Masovian Province in the Pruszkow Poviat. The town belongs to the Warsaw agglomeration. In the years 1975 to 1998 the towns become administratively part of the Warsaw province. The history of the creation of this metropolis starts in the 16th century. At that time, in the region of ultra modern Piastow there had been two cities Utrata and Zdzary. Parish documents from the 16th century tell that Zdzary become a spiritual village belonging to the Zbikow parish now part of Pruszkow. Then, till the mid 19th century, these lands belonged to the Major Seminary of Saint John the Baptist in Warsaw.
In 1865, the belongings changed into confiscated by the government of the Russian partition, for supporting the January Uprising by way of the church.
