Ozorkow

Ozorkow is a metropolis in crucial Poland with 19,809 population, located on the Bzura River. It is located within the Lodz Voivodeship, having previously been in Lodz Metro Voivodeship. The city's history dates again to the 15^th century. In 1415 a small village with inaccessible forests and swamps, belonging to the Szczawinski own family became referred to in one of the Polish chronicles. In 1807, the destiny proprietor of Ozorkow, Ignacy Starzynski, hoping to expand his fabric business, added 19 drapers from Saxony to the village. In 1815, their range has risen to 117, even as the metropolis of Lodz had 331.

A year later, in 1816, the village was granted metropolis rights and have become the capital of the Ozorkow county. In 1817 the Schlosserow family, who got here from Aachen, settled within the metropolis and founded the primary current cotton mill.
