About Olesno
Olesno is a city in the territory Opole, the seat of the Olesno collective and the Olesno poviat. Generally, it lies in Upper Silesia. In the years 1975 to 1998 the city was officially part of the territory, Czestochowa. It is situated on the waterway Stobrawa. Railroad station Olesno Slaskie. In 1450, the new proprietor of Olesno, Prince Bernard Niemodlinski Strzelecki, recharged the town's area rights. In the 17th and 18th centuries, various upheavals burdening the occupants catastrophic events and war harm. In 1708, the plague pandemic nearby left just 90 occupants alive.
