About Old Town Park
Old Town Park a recreation center in Lodz, situated between Zachodnia, Ogrodowa Polnocna, Franciszkanska and Wolborska Streets, isolated on Nowomiejska. The territory of 17 ha. It was made in the years 1951-1953 as per the plan of K. Chrabelski. Situated in the Old Town, in the valley of the Lodka waterway, now covered up in an underground channel. Where the recreation center is situated, until the point when the finish of the nineteenth century was a water repository the supposed Pond on the Lodka River.
