About Nidzica Castle
Nidzica castle is a 14th century chateau situated in Nidzica, Poland. The development of the castle was started around 1370. The Pfleger of the Teutonic Knights made it his living arrangement in 1409. On 12th July 1410, the undefended chateau was caught by the Polish powers on their way into the inside of the State of the Teutonic Order. At the season of the Hunger War of 1414 the mansion was put under attack by the Polish knights and taken following eight days on the 6th of July.
In 1454, the castle was involved by the Prussian Union and in February 1455 was taken by the Czech armed force driven by Jan Kolda ze Zampachu, who had spurned an assault a by the powers of the Teutonic Knights on 28 April. In 1517 the internal ward was developed and strengthened. In 1784 a flame expended the innter ward. In 1812 the chateau was crushed by French powers. The castle was revamped from 1828-1830 into a court and a jail. The Soviet armed force barraged the mansion in 1945 and it stayed in vestiges until its revamping in 1961-1965.
