About Mazowieckie
Mazovian Polish: Mazowieckie Voivodeship or Mazovia Province is the most important and maximum populous of the 16 Polish provinces, or voivodeships, created in 1999. It occupies 35,579 square kilometres of east-significant Poland, and has 5,324,500 population. Its fundamental cities are Warsaw in the centre of the Warsaw metropolitan place, Radom in the south, Plock in the west, Siedlce inside the east, and Ostroleka in the north. The capital of the voivodeship is the country wide capital, Warsaw.
The province's name remembers the traditional call of the location, Mazowsze, with which it's far roughly coterminous. However, southern a part of the voivodeship, with Radom, traditionally belongs to Lesser Poland, while Lomza and its environment, despite the fact that traditionally a part of Mazovia, now is part of Podlaskie Voivodeship. It is bordered by six different voivodeships: Warmian-Masurian to the north, Podlaskie to the north-east, Lublin to the south-east, Swietokrzyskie to the south, Lodz to the south-west, and Kuyavian-Pomeranian to the north-west.
