About Maly Powstaniec

Maly Powstaniec is a statue in recognition of the youngster officers who battled and kicked the bucket amid the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. It is situated on Podwale Street, beside the defenses of Warsaw's Old Town.The statue is of a young man wearing a cap too vast for his head and holding a submachine weapon.

It is rumored to be of a warrior who passed by the pen name "Antek", and was executed on 8 August 1944 at 13 years old. The cap and submachine firearm are adapted after German hardware, which was caught amid the uprising and utilized by the protection contenders against the involving powers.
