About Kutno
Kutno is a town positioned in primary Poland with 44,718 inhabitants and an area of 33.6 km2. Situated in the Lodz Voivodeship, previously part of Plock Voivodeship, it's far the capital of Kutno County. Kutno become historically the middle of a big Jewish community. In 1900, 10,356 Jews lived there. It turned into the birthplace of a famed Polish author Sholem Ash. During the invasion of Poland in 1939, Polish armies under General Tadeusz Kutrzeba conducted an offensive in and around Kutno, a war that turned into later named the Battle of the Bzura.
Based on its relevant place and the intersection of a couple of rail lines, Kutno is one of the maximum essential railroad junctions in Poland. Two most important lines move there. Another connection also starts offevolved in Kutno, which connects the city to Plock. Kutno is located inside the northern part of Lodz province and is 20 kilometres to the northwest of the geographical middle of Poland. According to the statistics from 1 January 2009, the location of the metropolis amounts to 33.59 rectangular kilometres.
