About Krasnystaw
Krasnystaw is a metropolis in japanese Poland with 19,750 inhabitants 29 March 2011. Situated inside the Lublin Voivodeship, formerly in Chelm Voivodeship 1975 to 1998. It is the capital of Krasnystaw County. The town is famous for its beer festival referred to as Chmielaki Polish chmiel way hop and for its dairy merchandise like yogurt and kefir. Krasnystaw is close to the border with Ukraine. The river Wieprz flows via Krasnystaw. Krasnystaw received its city charter from King Wladyslaw II Jagiello, who signed the report in Krakow, on March 1, 1394.
The new city turned into positioned inside the place of formerly present village of Szczekarzew and in 1490 to 1826, become property of the Bishops of Chelm, and the seat of a starosta.
