About Krapkowice
Krapkowice is a city in Poland in the Opolskie Voivodeship, the seat of the Krapkowice urban rustic cooperative and the Krapkowice poviat. Krapkowice acquired a city area in 1284. In 1781, 985 inhabitants lived in the town 975 of which were Christian and 10 Jews. In 1819 to 892 Catholics, 129 Protestants and 33 Jews in 1831, 1296 Catholics, 238 evangelicals and 71 Jews. In 1861, out of an absolute populace of 1605 individuals 1067 communicated in Polish and 538 in German.
The topographic portrayal of Upper Silesia from 1865 notes that in 1861 there were 2352 occupants in the city, of which 683 communicated in Polish and 1669 in German. Thus, different sources express that toward the start of the 19th century, the Polish language won in Krapkowice. 2526 people were qualified for vote amid the plebiscite, of which 1801, roughly 71.3%, were occupants including 1716, approx. 67.9% of the aggregate, occupants conceived in the town. Krapkowice are located in the center of the Opolskie Voivodeship. The city is located on both sides of the Odra River.
