About Kampinos National Park

Kampinos National Park is a National Park in east-central Poland, in Masovian Voivodeship, on the north-west outskirts of Warsaw. It has a sister park concurrence with Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Indiana, United States. Creating a recreation center here showed up without precedent for the 1920s. In the 1930s the main backwoods holds were opened: Granica, Sierakow and Zamczysko. Today, these stores are considerably bigger and are entirely ensured. The recreation center was made in 1959, covering an aggregate territory of 407 square kilometers 157 sq mi. There are no lakes, the greatest waterway of the Park, a tributary to the Bzura, which goes about as a water trench.
