Kamien Pomorski is a town inside the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of north-western Poland, on the Baltic coast. It is the seat of an city-rural gmina in Kamien County which lies about 63 km to the north of the regional capital Szczecin. It is the second one seat of the Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamien and a deanery of Kamien. Kamien is the primary regarded capital of the Duchy of Pomerania. In 2015 the town had a populace of 8921 inhabitants. The metropolis have become the seat of a bishopric in 1176 and a Pomeranian diocese.
