About Green Gate
The Green Gate in Gdansk, Poland, is one of the city's most prominent vacation spots. It is arranged between the Long Market and the River Motlawa. With the Golden Gate and the Highland Gate, the Green Gate traverses the Long Market and Long Street, together including the Royal Route. The Green Gate was plainly enlivened by the Antwerp City Hall. It was constructed 1568-71 as the formal living arrangement of Poland's rulers. It is a magnum opus by Regnier, an Amsterdam modeler, and reflects Flemish building impact in Gdansk. Hans Kramer from Dresden was in charge of the development plans.
On 11– 20 February 1646, the future Queen of Poland, Marie Louise Gonzaga, was engaged here. In the late eighteenth century the Nature Society was housed here, yet before long moved to the Naturalists' House Research Society House. Today, the Green Gate houses the National Museum in Gdansk. Presentations, gatherings, meetings and shows are held here. The Gdansk office of previous Polish President Lech Walesa is situated in one of the rooms. The Pier filled in as the pit stop in the fifth leg of the Amazing Race 23. You can come to visit, explore and experience this place more.
