About Glubczyce
Glubczyce is a town in Opole Voivodeship in southern Poland, close to the fringe with the Czech Republic. It is the managerial seat of Glubczyce County and Gmina Glubczyce. The settlement named Glubcici was first referenced in an 1107 deed. At the time, it was a little town, ruled by a substantial wooden manor. It remained on the correct bank of the Psina River, which as indicated by a 1137 harmony bargain between the dukes Sobeslav I of Bohemia and Boleslaw III of Poland shaped the outskirt between the Moravian grounds at that point governed by the Bohemian dukes and the Polish territory of Silesia.
The precise date of the city establishment is obscure, however it is recognizable back to 1224, when the town called Lubschicz held toll rights got from the Premyslid ruler Ottokar I. Anyway in 1241 the town was crushed amid the Mongol attack.
