About Dabrowa Tarnowska
Dabrowa Tarnowska is a town in Poland, in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, approximately 16 kilometers north of Tarnow. It is the capital of Dabrowa County. Before reorganization Dabrowa Tarnowska become part of Tarnow Voivodeship 1975 to 1998. Population is 11,402. Dabrowa Tarnowska has a rail station on the minor line which joins Tarnow and Szczecin. Dabrowa Tarnowska became first stated as a parish village in 1326. At that point, it already changed into a big village, which belonged to the noble Ligeza circle of relatives, and had a mill, fish farm, 60 agricultural farms and a folwark. In 1614, a new parish church was built through Mikolaj.
