About Chojnice
Chojnice is a metropolis in northern Poland with about 40,447 inhabitants, close to the Tuchola Forest. It is the capital of the Chojnice County. Chojnice has been part of Pomeranian Voivodeship considering 1999, as it turned into in the course of the period 1945–1975; at some stage in the time span 1975–1998 the town belonged to Bydgoszcz Voivodeship. Chojnice become founded round 1205 in Gdansk Pomerania, a duchy dominated on the time through the Samborides, who had in the beginning been appointed governors of the province by using Boleslaw III Wrymouth of Poland.

By 1282 the duchy had back to Poland.
