Central Museum of Textiles

The Central Museum of Textiles is a gallery of materials situated in the Ludwik Geyer's White Factory in Lodz, Poland. To start with endeavors to make a sorted out accumulation of materials in the territory go back to 1952 when Krystyna Kondratiukowa prompted setting up a Weaving Department in the Museum of Art in Lodz. The White Factory the seat of the historical center is a complex of classicist structures raised by the group of Ludwik Geyer in the years 1835– 1886. It is viewed as a standout amongst the most wonderful and one of a kind landmarks of modern design in Poland. It owes its extraordinariness to the four-wing factory, the working of the Old Boiler House amidst a major yard, a high fireplace, two residue towers and two water-towers. The way toward remodeling and changing the White Factory to the historical center's targets started in 1955 when specialists took a choice to assign it to the future area of the exhibition hall.
