About Bochnia
Bochnia is a city of 30,000 residents on Raba River in southern Poland. The city is located approximately 38 kilometers from the Terneve East and the regional capital, Krakow West. Bochenia is the most famous for salt mines, which is the oldest method in Europe, which is 1248. In 1999, the administrative reorganization of Poland was the administrative capital of Bocania County in the residence of Bokenia Lesnar Poland Poland. Before reorganization, it was part of Taro Vivodshit.
The area of Bochania for 2002 is 29.89 square kilometers 11.54 square miles. The city is located along national roads 94 and 75. The A4 motorway European route E40 also passes north of the city. There is also a railway station in it. There is a tension on a strategic west-east line, from Bochania Kraków to Medica Archduke Charles's Eastern Galician Railway. Bochnia Lesser is one of the oldest cities in Poland.
The first known source to refer to the city is a letter of 1198, which has been confirmed by the donor of the Order of the Holy Sepular by the local Magnet, Mikora Griffith, of Ayr Monk of Latin Patriac, Jerusalem. In 1248, the discovery of rock salt on a large scale at the site of the current mine provided the city's Privileges Magdeburg rights by Boleslav Chast on February 27, 1253. The original founder document is the city's name Salzburg. Also mentioned, because many residents of Bochania were residents of Lower Silesia to speak German.
