About Blachownia
Blachownia is a city in Czestochowa County, Silesian Voivodeship and Poland. It lies about 10 km west of the town of Czestochowa. The city belongs to ancient Lesser Poland, and is positioned along National Road Nr. 46. In the destiny, the A1 dual carriageway will move close to Blachownia. The city also has a railroad station. Since Blachownia lies so close to Czestochowa, its miles served via the town mass transit gadget.
The history of Blachownia dates again to 1356, whilst King Kazimierz Wielki gave permission to establish two villages inside the region under the jurisdiction of a Starosta from nearby Olsztyn. This ended in an influx of settlers, and this place of western lesser Poland, located close to the border with Czech dominated Silesia, emerged as a center of industry, with numerous forges and bloomeries. In the 16th century, while the agreement of lojki future Blachownia belonged to Krakow Voivodeship, it had as many as 36 forges, powered by way of water wheels. Furthermore, iron ore became excavated right here, and in one of the nonetheless-existing files from 1531, King Zygmunt August allowed a person named Blazej lojek to run a forge.
