About San Juan Bautista Church

San Juan Bautista Parish Church, locally known as Calumpit Church, is a seventeenth-century, Roman Catholic, baroque church placed in Calumpit, Bulacan, Philippines. The parish church, below the patronage of Saint John the Baptist, belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos below the Vicariate of Saint James the Apostle. Calumpit is recognized because the first website online of the evangelization by the Augustinian Order in Northern Luzon. The mission discipline covered present-day Bulacan province and some regions of Pampanga inclusive of Macabebe, Apalit, and Candaba although some references characteristic Calumpit as part of Pampanga or one of the Alcaldias of vicinity La Pampanga throughout the early years of Spanish colonisation of the Philippines together with other Alcaldias including Betis and Lubao.
