About Malacanang of the North
The Malacanang of the North is a presidential museum in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It was the house of the circle of relatives of Ferdinand Marcos when he became the President of the Philippines. The house changed into built by using the Philippine Tourism Authority in 1977 for Marcos's 60th birthday, and served as an official residence for the president's own family once they were staying in Ilocos Norte.
It is a -tale mansion overlooking the Paoay Lake, and includes seven supposedly a fortunate number for Marcos rooms, with each room having a topic of ancient events from the Marcos technology: Study, Agriculture, Diplomacy, OFW overseas Filipino employees, Culture, Nation Building and Family. While being administered by means of TIEZA, Cecile Licad performed a Frederic Chopin program on the assets in 2001. Usage of the property became grew to become over through the former president Benigno Aquino III to the Ilocos Norte provincial authorities in 2010. Governor Imee Marcos, Ferdinand Marcos's daughter, then had the assets refurbished to be one of the province's visitor points of interest.
