About Hundred Islands National Park
The Hundred Islands National Park is the primary national park and a blanketed vicinity positioned in Alaminos, Pangasinan inside the northern Philippines. The islands, totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in Lingayen Gulf protecting an area of 16.76 rectangular kilometres. Only three of them had been advanced for tourism: Governor Island, Quezon Island, and Children's Island.
The countrywide park become created by Presidential Proclamation No. 667, covering an area of 16.76 rectangular kilometres and signed with the aid of President Manuel L. Quezon on January 18, 1940, for the advantage and entertainment of the humans of the Philippines and called the Hundred Islands National Park. The Republic Act No. 3655 signed on June 22, 1962, created the Hundred Islands Conservation and Development Authority, for the conservation, development and control of HINP. The park including Lucap Bay become transferred from HICDA to the Philippine Tourism Authority with the aid of distinctive feature of Section 35 of Presidential Decree No. 564.
