Park of the Reserve

The Park of the Reserve is a recreation center situated in downtown Lima, in Peru. Worked in a sporadic shape, it is situated between two of the city's foremost boulevards, the Park of the Reserve freeway and Arequipa Avenue. It has a zone of eight hectares and is worked in a neo-established style. It was outlined by the French draftsman Claude Sahut and is home to numerous models worked by Peruvian specialists. Before development, the arrive on which it is found had a place with the close-by Park of the Exposition before the territory between 28 de Julio Avenue and Larrabure Unanue Street was worked over. In 1926 development was initiated as requested by the president Augusto B. Leguia.

It was named of the Reserve to pay tribute to the last warriors who battled in the Battle of San Juan and Chorrillos, and the Battle of Miraflores. The recreation center was finished in 1929. The biggest wellspring in the Park of the Reserve, named "Enchantment Fountain" contains a stream which powers water to a tallness of more than 80 m. Extra attractions are the Tunnel Fountain of Surprises, a 35 m walk-through passage of water ; the Children's Fountain (Fuente de los Ninos), a stroll in computerized wellspring; and a passage interfacing the two segments of the recreation center which contains a presentation featuring ongoing open works extends in Lima. The Fantasia Fountain, site of a consistently booked laser and picture appear, is 120 m long and contains planes that are synchronized to music.
