About Larkana
Larkana is a metropolis in the north-west of the Sindh province of Pakistan, wherein the ancient Indus River flows in south of the metropolis. It is referred to as the metropolis of Holy Alams due to the finest variety of Holy Alams as compared to other towns or areas of the sector. It is home to the Indus Valley Civilization web page Mohenjo-daro, which is greater in size than Babylonia and Assyria.
The city is placed within Larkana District. Formerly called 'Chandka', Larkana is located on the south financial institution of the Ghar canal, approximately forty miles south of the town Shikarpur, and 36 miles north-east of Mehar. Larkana is situated at Latitude 24 56' 00' and Longitude 67 11' 00'. It is located in north-western Sindh and it has personal division. It is also covered in upper Sindh. Abdul Khalique Bhutto turned into the Advocate, First Chairman Municipal Committee Larkana, 1979 to 1984. Khan Muhammad Sanghroo from Dokri a taluka in Larkana District was elected Chairman Municipal Committee Larkana inside the 2016 nearby authorities elections.
