About Al Ain Zoo
Al Ain Zoo, additionally Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort or truly "Al Ain Wildlife Park" is a 400-hectare acre zoo positioned within the foothills of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates. It is typically composed of ungulates and herbivores inclusive of Arabian antelopes and oryx, eland, gazelle, lechwe and can be observed within the tree shaded paddocks which give breeding situations that had been deemed tremendous. Like the Breeding Centre for Endangered Wildlife in the Emirate of Sharjah, which is now closed to the public, it is a member of the EAZA.
The zoo was based in 1968 through Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the overdue Ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates, out of challenge for the land's wildlife, specifically ungulates which include the Arabian oryx. The zoo functions a massive cat house. Lions, cougars, jaguars and black and noticed leopards are located right here. In addition to this, it also has a reptile house, monkey compounds, aquarium, and aviary.
