About Ulla Lighthouse
On Kvernholmen on the west side of Haramsøy lies delightful Ulla Fyr from 1874. For a hundred years, the fires were workplaces and homes for the two guardians, officers, relatives and their families, and filled in as a little gathering.
The reference point was worked after a ruthless incident in March 1869 where 18 fishers from the zone kicked the container in a storm.
Ulla was a noteworthy calculating town at this moment and had close to a thousand fishers in the late 1800s.
In 1944 the region was shelled by joined flying machine, and both the reference point and the home isolated to the ground.
