About Rosenkrantz Tower

The Rosenkrantz Tower is viewed as a standout amongst the essential renaissance landmarks in Norway. Parts of the pinnacle are from the 1270s, yet it has been stretched out on a few events with the end goal of a fortress and as a show of energy.

In the event that you move up the tight and dull flights of stairs, you can climb straight up onto the rooftop, which gives amazing perspectives.

The pinnacle was the habitation of King Eirik Magnusson, who was the last ruler to hold court in Bergen until he kicked the bucket in 1299.

Later the pinnacle housed less lucky inhabitants – the basement contains the famous cell, which was most likely being used well into the nineteenth century.

31 October the pinnacle is open for an energizing and distinctive All Saints Day festivity.

In the event that you purchase a maximum ticket at the primary exhibition hall, you get a half markdown on the confirmation charge to the greater part of our different galleries consistently.

A guided visit from 24 June to 15 August. English at 10:00 and 14:00. Norwegian at 11:00. Guided visit: NOK 20
