About Lom Rural Museum
Lom Rural Museum is an outdoors exhibition hall with structures dating from 1613 to 1860. We have one of the biggest conventional stockpiling houses, called a stabber, in Norway.
In the capacity house, a visitor can see our presentation about water system and grain developing – neighborhood procedures and strategies which made Lom one of the wealthiest grain developing groups in the South East of Norway.
Structures in the gallery incorporate farmhouse, stockpiling house, stables, an inhabitant cultivate and a mountain cultivates seter.
During the season we have exercises for offspring of any age, and exhibitions of conventional preparing and workmanship systems. Lom Stave Church, which was worked in the second 50% of the twelfth century, is found adjacent.
