Lom bygdamuseun

Lom Bygdamuseum is an open-air historical center that lies in the green surroundings, of "Presthaugen", just 300 meters from Fossbergom, focus in Lom.Presthaugen was already uncultivated region under Prestegarden.

With encounters for the entire family and the stamped trails through the exhibition hall, the town historical center is a decent beginning stage for visits in Lom and climbs into the Breheimen National Park.

At the passage to the exhibition hall, visit one of the Council's storage facility, Storstabburet from 1613. This was beforehand corn stockpiling of prestegarden in Lom, it contains today a perpetual display about the watering framework and developing society of Lom.

At the display, the Lom town Museum has recorded 22 structures, that give cases of construction, outside and inside from the period 1613 - 1900. The houses are set up in the period from 1944 to 1960 and applied by ious ranches in Lom and Vågå.

The historical center has three-yard, one extensive homestead, one smallholding mountain cultivate, and an old school building from Galde Boverdalen.
