About Glittertind
Glittertind or Glittertinden is the second most noteworthy mountain in Norway, at 2,465 meters above ocean level, including the icy mass at its top without the icy mass, it is 2,452 meters. It is situated in the region of Lom, in the Jotunheimen.
Glittertind had before been a challenger for the title as the most astounding mountain in Norway, as estimations indicated Glittertind including the icy mass was somewhat higher than Galdhøpiggen 2,469 meters above ocean level.
The icy mass has, be that as it may, contracted lately, and the debate has been settled to support Galdhøpiggen. The summit of Glittertind was gone after the first run through in 1841 by Harald Nicolai Storm Wergeland and Hans Sletten.
Glittertind is effortlessly available from Spiterstulen to hold up in the west, by a move of 1,300 meters, and from Glitterheim stop in the east, by a move of 1,000 meters.
The climb from Glitterheim is the simpler, yet Glitterheim is inside the National Park and can along these lines just become by foot. The summit climb is an extremely well-known one, just outperformed in regular numbers by Galdhøpiggen, its western neighbor.
