About Giske Church
Visit one of Norway's most shocking places of love at the island Giske. The experience island holds the acclaimed Giske Church, worked in the twelfth century.
Today the assemblage is Norway's simply marble church, is still in full use.
The gathering was functioned as a private place of supplication for the convincing respectable family Giske, known as "Arnungane".
The family was one of Norway's wealthiest, and each other year the chronicled play "Giskespelet" is performed on an outside amphitheater perfect by the assemblage.
The play unveils to us the account of how people from the Giske family were to play parts in basic events in Norwegian history.
