About Drammen Spiral
The Drammen Spiral is a tunnel close Drammen, Norway. The tunnel is 1,650 meters long and in the state of a helix, with six rising circles, in a similar style as a multi-story stopping lot. Every pivot of the helix rises 73 feet, covering a distance across of 230 feet. The tunnel rises at a summit 600 feet over the town on Skansen Edge, where there are stopping offices and a bistro.
The tunnel was proposed after concern was raised that quarrying was starting to distort the local landscape. The people group chose to tunnel for stone as an option, making a vacation spot as a result. Development began in endless supply of the quarries. Shake exhumed for the tunnel was squashed and used to make a harbor bank in the city, while stone was utilized in cement. The tunnel was opened for traffic in 1961 by Ruler Olav V.
