About Aurlandsfjord
Aurlandsfjord is a fjord in Sogn og Fjordane area, Norway. The fjord moves through the districts of Aurland, Vik, and Lærdal. The 29-kilometer 18 mi long fjord is a branch off of the principle Sognefjorden, Norway's longest fjord. The fjord is profound and limit, achieving a profundity of around 962 meters 3,156 ft underneath ocean level, and its width is by and large under 2 kilometers 1.2 mi wide.
Around 11 kilometers 6.8 mi south of the mouth of the fjord, the Naeroyfjord fans out from it toward the west. The town of Flåm sits at the deepest piece of the Aurlandsfjord; different towns along the fjord are Aurlandsvangen and Undredal. A large portion of the fjord is encompassed by up to 1,800-meter 5,900 ft tall, soak mountains with little residence along the fjord aside from in a couple of little valleys.
