Musical Society of Nigeria

The Musical Society of Nigeria MUSON was established in 1983 because of the cooperation and duty of a few companions who cherish and acknowledge traditional music. These recognized Nigerians included Mr. Akintola Williams, Mr. Louis Mbanefo, Chief Ayo Rosiji, Chief Rasheed Gbadamosi and Mrs. Francesca Emanuel.

The principle goal of MUSON is the advancement of the understanding, satisfaction and execution of established and contemporary music in Nigeria.MUSON Center, Musical Society of Nigeria is an execution lobby in Lagos. The multipurpose urban amphitheater is situated in the core of Lagos Island, arranged prominently between the National Museum, the City Mall, the Onikan Stadium and the previous authority living arrangement of the Nigeria's Governors-Generals and nearby Tafawa Balewa Square.
