About Trentham Memorial Park
Trentham Memorial Park is a large park and a prime recreation and endeavor ground in Trentham, a suburb of Upper Hutt, inside the Wellington area of New Zealand. The park was purchased through the Upper Hutt Council from the Barton family inside the Nineteen Fifties as Upper Hutt's Second World War memorial and covers a place of forty eight hectares. It is described by using the neighborhood council as an appealing setting for sports activities, carnivals, picnics, playgrounds and bush walks, and lies between Fergusson Drive and the Hutt River. There is a number of wearing pursuits to be had within the park which include rugby, soccer, cricket, harriers and an axeman’s club.
The park includes:
1.Barton's Bush – a local forest reserve
2.Domain Bush - a smaller native forest remnant
3.Walking tracks
4.Barton Oval – a proper cricket oval
5.Indoor and outside cricket nets
6.Sports grounds for cricket and rugby
