The Great War Exhibition

It is situated in the noteworthy Dominion Museum Building, inside the excellent Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, The Great War Exhibition is a national heritage venture.

Opened in April 2015 it investigates the Great War – at all powers and nations included.

The shocking relics running from a full-estimate tank to little dolls occupied with trench fighting delineate the trials and abhorrence of war.

The lives and encounters of New Zealanders who served and lived amid that time feature the dauntlessness and persisting soul which helped shape our identity as a people and being a New Zealander.
