About Skippers Canyon

The Skippers Canyon Road, situated in the south-west of New Zealand's South Island, is today one of New Zealand's better referred to picturesque streets and unfathomably frightening as it's thoroughly limited and distinctive to manouvre your auto.

One of the features of your visit will be the intersection of Skippers Canyon Bridge.

The extension is 100m long and suspended 90m over the Shotover River by its unique 14 wire ropes.

You will then securely achieve Skippers Point in the Mount Aurum Conservation Area and appreciate a stunning morning tea as home-made cheddar on wafers, bread rolls and a few refreshments will be served.

Drive with mind as this is a mountain street with clasp bends and perilous dropoffs.

In many spots it's excessively restricted for vehicles, making it impossible to pass each other, there are no guardrails, and the drop-offs leave definitely no space for blunder.

Today, Skippers Road is particularly a vacation spot.
