About Queen Elizabeth Park

Queen Elizabeth Park is a cricket ground in Masterton, Wellington, New Zealand. It became named Masterton Park Oval until 1954, when the park turned into renamed in honour of Queen Elizabeth II after her go to Masterton. The ground changed into advanced for nearby cricket in 1881. The first fundamental healthy at the ground was held in 1907 while Wairarapa performed the travelling Marylebone Cricket Club. In December 1910 the floor staged the primary in shape inside the inaugural season of the Hawke Cup, while Wairarapa hosted Manawatu. The floor held its first great fit throughout the 1966/67 Plunket Shield whilst Central Districts performed Auckland.

Between the 1966/67 and 2002/03 seasons, twelve great fits had been held there, the remaining of which saw Central Districts play Wellington inside the 2002/03 State Championship. Between the 1980/81 and 2004/05 season, Central Districts performed five List A matches at Queen Elizabeth Park. Central Districts Women used Queen Elizabeth Park as a domestic venue between 2002 and 2010.
