About Mount Cook
Also known by the name of Aoraki, Mount Cook is the highest of the 27 peaks that are present in New Zealand. With a height of around 3000 meters, it is round the year covered with snow and proves to be a splendid place for skiing. Though the best time for skiing is in winters when the snow is not loose. It is situated in Mount Cook National Park which is perfect for hiking and walking. Famous Sir Edmund Hillary is said to have trained in this high altitude park before he made history by climbing Mt. Everest.
