St. Christopher's Cathedral inside the Dutch city of Roermond is the principle church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Roermond. It is devoted to Saint Christopher. The cathedral is positioned on the market square, near the river Meuse and a Meuse fort, on a pedestrian underpass main to the opening Centre. The production of the Christoffelkerk, which commenced in 1410 and was to start with designed as a basilica on a cruciform floor plan, turned into intended to replace an older parish church outside the partitions of the city of Roermond. During the 15th century the building plans have been changed; the choir changed into completed as a three-aisled hall, the nave turned into constructed with five naves.
