The St. Egbertuskerk in Almelo is a constructing of Jan Stuyt in Romanesque Revival style. The type is three-aisled cross church with a big, conical dome and resembles the development of the Gerardus Majella church in Amsterdam and the Sint-Trudo church in Zundert . This church has no longer been used as a church constructing considering that 2004 and is presently Owned by means of the St. Joseph Almelo housing affiliation. After the church have become out of use, it became stated that the church could be taken over via a Pentecostal church.
