The Sint-Servatius church, a so-called water - nation church , is a neo - Gothic Roman Catholic church from 1839 on the Market in Schijndel within the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant . The church is a three-sided closed basilical church with a three-sided closed choir .The church has been designated as a national monument. The church tower from 1525 is past due Gothic with an octagonal stair tower and a steep spire with a sphere. She does no longer have buttresses, however does have sections and arch friezes . In the crossing tower is a church bell of an nameless watering can with a diameter of fifty five cm from 1686.On the church rectangular is a liberation chapel from 1953, designed by means of Peter Roovers . Since 1957, there may be also a Sacred Heart statue at the church.
The interior includes, among different things, a pulpit with a sculpture organization of oak with a preaching Johannes the Baptist, partly Waterstaat style, component neo-gothic by Hendrik Peeters-Divoort from Turnhout from 1855. The neo-gothic excessive altar by way of Pierre Cuypers from 1858 is made from very richly worked oak. There are also six timber statues within the critical nave of numerous saints, made by way of Jan Custers from Eindhoven among 1904 and 1907.
